In our industry, innovation is measured not only in performance but also in responsibility. At Beyma, we take a firm commitment to sustainable development and reducing environmental impact at every stage of our process.
Thanks to our own Maltcross™ technology, we design and manufacture speakers that offer performance equivalent to—or even superior to—other products on the market, with a notable reduction in the use of iron, magnets, and copper. This translates into more efficient use of resources and a significant reduction in environmental impact, lowering transport costs and the carbon footprint.
We prioritize local supply sources over more distant alternatives to directly reduce the carbon footprint associated with transport. In parallel, the development of in-house manufacturing processes allows us to dispense with external suppliers for certain operations, further reducing associated logistics and gaining efficiency.
Our facility features a photovoltaic solar panel system that allows us to balance energy consumption with cleanly generated energy. This effort brings us closer to our goal of net-zero CO2 emissions, tangibly reducing our environmental footprint.
We are progressively eliminating non-recyclable plastics in our products and packaging, and we are exploring recycled and recyclable materials such as cardboard or bioplastics together with our industrialization team. Furthermore, we work with certified managers to ensure responsible treatment of the waste generated in our operations.
We have a specific area dedicated to recovering critical materials, such as those from rare earths (magnets), reducing overall scrap.
Additionally, we promote the training of certified repair agents capable of extending the useful life of our products through safe and reliable repairs. This allows us to reduce waste volume and reinforce our commitment to a more circular economy.
Our organizational structure also contributes to the sustainability goal.
At Beyma, we have a continuous workday that avoids split shifts both in offices and on the plant floor, reducing staff's daily commutes and improving work-life balance without compromising productivity.
Likewise, although we believe in the value of direct contact, we are prioritizing, whenever possible, the use of online meetings for the regular follow-up of projects, especially with system manufacturers. This practice not only improves efficiency but also helps reduce emissions associated with travel.
Our products rigorously comply with the main European Union environmental regulations regarding restricted substances.
Specifically, they do not contain levels of prohibited substances as established by the European Parliament and Council's RoHS Directive (2011/65/EU) and the REACH Regulation (EC No 1907/2006).
If they contain any of the regulated substances, their concentration is within the maximum limits allowed by current legislation and does not compromise product compliance.
This commitment allows us to offer our clients safer, more responsible products fully aligned with the sustainability and environmental health standards required internationally.
